Hello again. This is Open Comp On Entry – a place where we’ll be sharing interesting tips about keeping your house nice and tidy. Many of them are quite unusual and interesting, especially the tip we’re going to share with you today – so listen up!
If you’re lucky enough to live in a place that is generally warm, and has many sunny months throughout the year, then no doubt you have a nice garden, with a good outdoor space for a barbecue or even a swimming pool if you’re lucky enough.
One of the things that many people come to me and ask is, what can you tell me that will help keep my kitchen clean. Sometimes I laugh at how bad an inept people are when it comes to thinking outside the box a little bit. If you’d also like to know my simple answer to this question then sit tight.
Ready? The trick to keeping your kitchen tidy is cooking less within it. Sounds simple right? Don’t get me wrong, he can definitely still use your kitchen as a place to socialise and entertain guests, but if you’re one of the lucky people that lives in a warmer part of the country, you need to be utilising this to help keep your kitchen free of messiness and untidiness.
How do you do this? Simple – cook outside more. It’s sounds painfully obvious, but during the hottest weeks of the summer I try and do all my cooking outside in the heat of the sun. Not only is this pleasant but it helps keep my kitchen clean, and means the kitchen never has to feel overcrowded whilst i’m cooking.
Now, obviously in order to be able to cook a decent meal outside you’re going to need an outside oven, or even a barbecue. Some people scoff at the idea of cooking all your meals on a barbecue for a certain period of the year, but they don’t realise just how versatile a barbecue can be. There are so many dishes that can be cooked with a barbecue. If your a fan of cooked meat, then you’re definitely going to need a wireless meat thermometer. That one there is my favourite and I find its incredibly accurate. So quit stalling, get yourself an outside oven and start keeping your kitchen squeaky clean today.
This is just a quick message for y’all to inform you all about our upcoming post. We’ll be talking about other cool ways to help make your house spotless, in terms of conserving space. To be precise, we’ll be talking about how to take up less space when doing certain things in your house like working out or cooking. Make sure you come back to take a look once it’s up.
Open Comp On Entry is here to show you all the best ways of cleaning your house in a crisis. Now, when it really comes down to it, and you find yourself stuck in a pickle, then you can do no harm by relying on the help of an end of tenancy cleaning service. Let me tell you a story of when they successfully got me out of a sticky situation.
Around 10 years ago, when I was a young and sprightly university student, stupidly (I still don’t exactly know why I did this) I decided to throw a party at my flat the day before I was due to move out.
It was at the end of my second year, and like pretty much all students, I was due to move into a different flat for my third year. I remember that in this year for some reason our flat wasn’t quite ready yet or we were scheduled to move into it at some point over the summer. This meant rather than being able to instantly transport our stuff over to the new flat, we had to keep it in storage for a few months.
Back to the story – for some strange reason I decided to throw a sort of leaving party in my flat the night before leaving. I don’t know how I forgot, but somehow the fact that the property had to be cleaned to the landlords standards upon departure had completely escaped my mind. How did I forget this? It doesn’t really matter now its in the past.
Anyway, the party went really well, but my hangover the next brought me back down to earth. It was suddenly then that I realised the flat needed to be spotless before I’d left. I reasoned that it would probably take 3 people to clean all this mess in time. That coupled with the fact that I was supremely hungover made this an incredibly daunting prospect.
However, I quickly thought up a plan. How about hiring a Wimbledon end of tenancy cleaning service. I remembered one of my friends telling me that he had done exactly this a few years back and that they had done a brilliant job of it. I called up the same company and they were at my flat within an hour. All the mess was gone within another two hours and I was so relieved I could have passed out. What a sound and solid business!
